The SASSI Institute Substance Use Measures

Welcome to The SASSI Institute's Scoring & Report Service

The SASSI Institute is dedicated to providing valid and accurate substance use screening instruments for those in the helping professions, including those counselors working with specialized populations.

Scoring & Report Service (SRS)

The Scoring & Report Service provides interpretive auto-score reports for screening questionnaires available via the Internet for your convenience. Once registered, counselors can access selected screening instruments offered through the SRS. Download a screening instrument, ask your client to complete it, and then submit it by fax for automated scoring and a report on client screening results.

Single or multiple administrations can be purchased starting at $11.00 per administration with discounts for larger quantities.

Scoring & Report Service provides registered users:

  • Convenient and secure access to selected substance use screening instruments
  • Automated scoring and reports
  • Client reports delivered via email or fax
  • Purchased auto-score reports can be shared by all registered counselors within an organization
  • A purchased quantity of auto-score reports provides access to all instruments that are available through the SRS - the counselor can choose how to "bundle" the purchased quantity by administering and submitting for auto-score any of the available screeners based on client needs

Available Now:

Substance Abuse in Vocational Rehabilitation - Screener2 (SAVR-S2) - empirically validated to identify clients with high or low probability of substance use disorders, including misuse of prescription medications.
