Qualifications for Use of the Scoring & Report Service

Our substance use measures are carefully developed screening instruments that require proper administration and interpretation. Therefore, eligibility to purchase, administer, and/or use these measures is limited to individuals with training and experience in the area of assessment.

The SRS questionnaires may be used by anyone with at least one of the following:

• Human service practitioners whose certification is in a mental health discipline
• Certification as an addictions professional
• Completed course in psychological testing and assessment
• Master or doctorate in social work, psychology or a counseling discipline

Individuals who do not meet the qualifications may invite a qualified individual within their organization who is willing to supervise their use of the instrument(s) to complete and submit a Qualification Form.

Initial orders require a completed Qualification form. The ethical guidelines of the American Psychological Association require The SASSI Institute to have this information at the time we complete your first order. Please have this information available at time of registration.
